The characteristics of various networks can be distinguished with the help of topological indices. The purpose of this paper is to study the generalized prism network, which is very interesting for physics and engineering researchers. Regarding this network, we recovered some degree-based topological indices from the M-polynomial. We measured topological indices such as atom-bond connectivity, geometric arithmetic, K Banhatti, K hyper Banhatti, modified K Banhatti and harmonic K Banhatti by using M-polynomial approach.

The current situation with the widespread of a socially dangerous virus from the genus Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) and the announcement of a pandemic in connection with this demand the creation of new antiviral drugs since no specific treatment and prophylaxis against this disease has yet been found. Among medicinal plants that are widespread and exhibit multidirectional pharmacological activity, licorice should be noted. The active components contained in licorice, i.e. more than 20 triterpenoids and about 300 flavonoids coupled with glycyrrhizic acid (GL) referred to by the term "glycyrrhizin", have been widely studied for a long time. GL acts indirectly, interferes with the penetration of the virus into the cell, affects the components (HMGB1 protein) necessary for normal viral reproduction, and potentiates the production of interferon γ and α. GL acts against SARS-associated coronavirus infection by inducing the synthesis of nitric oxide synthase, which inhibits viral replication. However, GL may also be helpful in acute respiratory distress syndrome. The combination of the multidirectional pharmacological effects of GL and its derivatives make the licorice-containing preparations promising components of complex antiviral therapy. Currently, research into licorice-containing dosage forms continues from the perspective of creating vaginal suppositories with a thick extract of licorice

Acute poisoning by Organophosphate (OP) pesticides is an essential clinical problem in rural Asia. Crocetin (CRO) and Rutin (RU) are the nucleophile compounds with no toxicity effects. In the present study, the feasibility of crocetin and rutin administration as therapeutic agents for OP poisoning was studied and compared with 2-(pralidoxime) PAM administration in mice. CRO and RU at doses of (50, 100, 200 mg/kg) were administered intraperitoneal (IP) 15 minutes after a single intraperitoneal injection of Diazinon (DIZ) (LD50=366 mg/kg). Atropine (ATR; 20 mg/kg, IP) and pralidoxime (2-PAM; 30 mg/kg, ip) were used alone or together as standard therapy or control in different (12) groups. Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) were measured after 3 and 24 hours as markers of OP toxicity. Significant increase of AChE and BChE activity was observed by the CRO and RU at all doses as compared with the DIZ group. CRO at the dose of 100 mg/kg and RU at the dose of 200 mg/kg significantly increased the AChE activity and CRO and RU at the dose of 200 mg/kg significantly increased the BChE enzyme activity in comparison to DIZ+PAM and DIZ+ATR after 3 hours. It is concluded that CRO and RUT are more effective than 2-PAM to reactivation and also prevention of re-inhibition of the reactivated enzyme after 3 and 24 hours. High nucleophilic properties of CRO and RU can be considered as the mechanism proposed for AChE reactivation.

The core of indenopyridine is present in group 4-azafluronone alkaloids, which is shown with its simplest member, Onikinine. Many of the derivatives of indenopyridine have exhibited bonding activities with the Adenosine A2a receptor and inhibited phosphodiesterase in the treatment of neurological disorders and inflammatory diseases. They also act as antagonists to calcium and herbicides. In this way, these compounds are known to be chemical and biological heterocycles. As a result, the convenient synthesis of these molecules has attracted the attention of the organic synthesis community. In this study, we presented the synthesis of indopyridine with the use of nano-CeO2/ZnO as a heterogeneous and recyclable catalyst with high efficiency under reflux conditions.

The structural, electronic, and optical nature for SiC, Si0.94Sn0.06C, and Si0.88Sn0.12C lead-free photovoltaic inverters have been examined in this work for the first time using DFT based on CASTEP code. For developing the photovoltaic inverters, silicon carbide (SiC), was optimized by the DFT method of the computational tool using Generalized Gradient Approximation (GGA) based on the Perdew Burke Ernzerhof (PBE). The DOS and PDOS were calculated. It was obtained as a hexagonal geometry structure and its band gap was 2.3 eV as an indirect band gap which indicated the photovoltaic inverters. Afterward, the doping effect was recorded by using Sn metals at 6% and 12% replacing the Si atom. The band gaps for 6% and 12% of Sn doped were 2.00 eV and 1.65 eV, respectively, that provided the evidence as strong inverters in term of band gap. The optical properties, such as absorption, reflection, refractive index, conductivity, dielectric function, and loss function were calculated for SiC, Si0.94Sn0.06C,and Si0.88Sn0.12C. As a final remark, it can be said that the doping effect of 12% of Sn metals on silicon carbide (SiC) can reduce the band gap and supportive for photovoltaic inverters from optical properties.

In this study, new series of 2-aryl-3-(pyrimidine-2-ylamino)imidazo[1,2-a]pyrimidine derivatives (3-secondary amine) were synthesized through one-pot reaction of aromatic ketones and 2-aminopyrimidine. These reactions were performed in the presence of I2 and DMSO. Derivatives of 3-amine compound were reacted with propargyl bromid to yield 2-phenyl-N-(prop-2-yn-1-yl)-N-(pyrimidine-2-yl) derivatives of imidazo/pyrimidine rings. Then, by Mannich reaction, one of 3-secondary amine derivatives (contains NH2 group) (1d) was reacted with different aromatic amines to form Mannich bases. All synthesized compounds were characterized via FT-IR spectroscopy, some of which were characterized by 1H-NMR spectroscopy. Other derivatives of imidazo(1,2-a)pyrimidine(1c,2c,2d,3a) were evaluated for anti-oxidant activity and one of these derivatives (2d) was tested for cytotoxic activity against breast cancer using MTT assay.

Depression is a psychological disorder that annually involves a significant population all over the world. Natural agents could be used for the treatment of depression. This study was conducted to compare synthetic agent of imipramine (IMP) and natural agents of gamma-oryzanol (GO) and Chlorella vulgaris microalgae (CV) on depression in rats. The depression was induced by using stress for 21 days and 6h/day. Fifty rats were divided into 5 groups, including 1) The rats exposed to depression without the treatment (DEP) and 2-4) the rats exposed to depression and treated with 100 mg/kg body weight of GO (GO), C. vulgaris (CV) and 30 mg/kg body weight of imipramine (IMP). A group without depression was considered as control (CON). Forced swimming test (FST) and open field test (OFT) were conducted to investigate the behavioral responses. The serum samples were analyzed for interleukin-1β (IL-1β), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), and interferon-gamma (IFN-γ). The gene expression of BDNF and TrkB was also investigated. The results showed that the rats in DEP group spent more time in immobility test and had lower crossing number (P<0.05). The results showed that induction of depression increased the serum concentrations of IL-1β, TNF-α and IFN-γ (P<0.05) and decreased the expressions of BDNF and TrkB (P<0.05). The treatment with IMP, GO and CV decreased the effects of depression on behavioral responses, inflammatory responses and the expressions of BDNF and TrkB. Overall, GO and CV can be used for the treatment of depression following clinical tests.
