Some are endowed with anticoagulant, spasmolitic, diuretic, anticancer and antianaphylactin. On the other hand, some 2-amino-4H-pyrans also can be employed as cognitive enhancers, for the treatment of neurodegenerative disease, including Alzheimer's disease, amyotrophic.
