Compound (1) was treated with sodium nitrate and hydrochloric acid in (0-5ºC) to form diazonium salt (2), then   diazonium salt reacted with acetylacetone and hydrazine, phenyl hydrazine and 2,4-dinitrophenyl hydrazine to give pyrazole ring (4-6). On the other hand, diazonium salt was react with pyrrole in the presence of glacial acetic acid to form compound (7) and with different Schiff bases to produce compounds (8-9).
